Using up more yarn with beautiful results. I took this craft in for Children's Church last Sunday and the kids really enjoyed adding different yarn colors to their wreaths.
SUPPLIES
- small paper plates
- variety of yarn, cut into pieces approximately 20"
- tape or glue
- scissors
- sticky foam squares
- Bible verse or other sentiment
- acorns, leaves, other decorations
Cut the inner circle out of the paper plates to create the wreath shape. Tape the end of one piece of yarn to the curve of the plate. Wrap the yarn, keeping the rows of yarn close together. When you come to the end of that piece, simply tape down the end and start another piece. Continue wrapping until the plate is covered. Use the foam squares to adhere the verse and other decorations. You can tie on a loop of yarn to hang the wreath. Happy Thanksgiving!
