One of the best parts about my job is that we are very involved in our small town. During the festival this summer, I was lucky to paint the backdrop for our parade float.

First I pinned two bed sheets together on three sides so they would slip over the frame on the back of the wagon.
Alright, I'm going to slip out of these shoes.
I had to paint hills covered in Sunflowers for the backdrop of our float. Why Sunflowers? Well, we celebrate the Sunflower Festival in our little town!

I added the local water tower and the float theme and the back drop is done!
